Parsley – The bully of the Aerogarden

I sometimes imagine the plants in my Aerogarden talking to each other and having personalities like the fish in the fish-tank in Finding Nemo. Do they worry about their neighbors when I remove them to a bigger pot outside?

Well today I found out that parsley is the bully of the Aerogarden. He had grown so big he overshadowed all the other plants. He had pushed his roots everywhere. All into the nooks and crannies of the pump itself. I was pulling roots out of the channels that fed water to all of the other plants. His leaves had grown over the warning light for the low water alarm. I only noticed because the pump started making a high whining noise as it strained to push water through the clogged tubes.

Well now the parsley is hanging upside down drying over the sink, and the other plants can breathe (and drink) freely.
